Jennifer RUSSELL

Jennifer is a British citizen who left the UK over twenty-five years ago to live in France.

She works as an English teacher and translator in local businesses. She has also worked as a teacher in primary and secondary schools.

While pursuing her university studies in France Jennifer met her future husband François and they have two bilingual children, a boy and a girl.

Jennifer decided to fulfill a long-term dream and open a holiday home very close to her house. Her passion for tourism and meeting new people is combined in this project.

She is an active member in local associations promoting tourism, local specialities and heritage sites : the Association des Jacobins focusing on the rehabilitation of a 13th century Church, Patrimoine et Saveurs, an association creating events that combine local specialities and discovery tours.

Renting the holiday home allows Jennifer to use her mother tongue when taking bookings, posting on social networks and most importantly welcoming her guests to Poligny. Jennifer loves to share her experiences and advise her guests. The gîte also reflects her love for interior decoration and gardening.
